Amazing MOVIE!! OMGOSH! I loved it. I put it right up there with "Thor" - AND I LOVED THOR!!!! Its the 2nd best movie I have seen this year. The acting, characters, effects, everything was perfect. I didnt think I would like it quite this much. :)

Captain America is awesome. For a Super hero movie, it had really good actors! I love Tommy Lee Jones he is such an amazing actor. And every line he has in this movie is so funny

If Thor was Marvel's Superman: The Movie, then Captain America is Marvel's Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's an action-packed adventure that remains true to its comicbook origins and is all the stronger for it. It's got derring-do, stuff getting blowed up real good and even a hint of romance. Chris Evans is perfect as Cap, Haley Atwell is the embodiment of the '40s dame who can take care of herself, and Tommy Lee Jones takes his gruff old guy to new levels. The effects - practical and CGI - are excellent and Hugo Weaving makes The Red Skull a villain to be reckoned with [in spite of less than memorable dialogue]. The 3D works beautifully for this film - Cap's shield-slinging, in part

I liked how the story came about and was worked into the universe of the Avengers. Despite the title, it had a balanced, international cast of characters and was less about American chest-thumping and more about telling a witty and entertaining story.

Good special effects. Interesting story.

I thought it followed the comics close enough and it was a great prequel to the advengers

Great story for someone like me who never read the comics. A bit too "rah-rah for my country" for my taste, but being Canadian, we don't do that. Overall very enjoyable.

The movie did a good job to tell some of Captain America's past without spending to much time so as to be able to tel some of the story and eventually tie it into todays time period. In all the movie was very entertaining and enjoyable to watch.

Enjoyed the movie. Caught the Wed' July 20th screening in Vancouver, B.C. ... good turnout for the event - 90% full. Crowd seemed to enjoy it as well. Good action and use of the RealD 3D ... decent pacing to the film, and good to see Chris Evans get a major blockbuster role after putting in work over the years in smaller projects and the occasional co-lead. Good popcorn movie and it'll be interesting to see how it does at the box office, and with reviewers/critics alike.
