I thought that Sean Penn`s performance was amazing and that little girl will take your breath away. It was one of the best movies I`ve ever seen. It`ll make you laugh; it`ll make you cry and it`ll make you think about how you treat other people. Good job.

I have worked with developmentally disabled adults for 12 years....I think Sean Penn did an excellent portrayal of this character! It was a very emotional and touching movie....truly believable...worthy of an Oscar!

This was without a doubt the most horrifyingly terrible thing I have ever seen. It was manipulative (although it was a failure at this) and an insult to my intellegence. It is and insult to my five year old brothers intellegence. What`s worse it appropriates beloved Beatles songs and filthies them.

my boyfriend and I went to see this movie and he told me that he never cries at the theatre. I caught him with a tear down his cheek....and he was balling. and his face was all red....it was funny! It was a GREAT MOVIE!! UWO !!!

My dad is a projectionist, and throughout my entire life, i`ve probably seen more movies than the average person... I AM SAM was the absolute best movie that I have ever seen! I`ve never seen a movie that was not only so well directed, but had incredible actors/actresses. I`ve never seen a movie that has made me cry as much as I AM SAM... it not only touched my heart, but my soul :) I hope everyone takes the time to see this movie.

I thought it was the best movie I have seen in a long time. It was a real tear-jerker! I loved it! I will definitly see it again, and I am planning on buying it as soon as it comes out on video.

I took my mother to see this Flick - she`s in her mid 70`s and she loved it. This was the second time I`d seen this film and it was as enjoyable as the first time. The remake of the Bealtes tones is great. Bought the CD last night. Highly recommend this film.

i enjoyed the story, but i was delighted by the cinematography and the way the film fit the score. as great as the beatles` originals are, the cover versions in my mind fit the time of the film, giving the songs a new flavour and the film an added dynamic. the handheld camera shots were fantastic and could not have been filmed in any other way.

Dakota Fanning is just soooo adorable. For a seven year old she is a really good actress. I really think that she should do more films because she did a great job in this one.

Bling Bling - this is a great movie... it`s going to be a hard decision between Russell and Sean for the Oscar. But you never know... somebody else just might win it.

Well guess what? My own brother suffers from autism and I thought Sean`s portrayal was brilliant and worthy of an Oscar nomination and YES an OSCAR. Just because your brother has suffered from the illness portrayed by Russell, doesn`t mean Russell deserves the Oscar and not Sean. That`s silly. Actually, one can say they both deserve based on their....surprise! Acting skills, not because one of them portrays what our brothers are suffering from. You may know schizophrenia but I know autism. Let`s just agree to disagree.

I saw the movie I am Sam on Saturday night, Februuary 9, 2002. The movie was very good and extremely well done. As good as all the actors/actresses were, Sean Penn stood out as "extremely good". Congratulations all around to all. A well done movie. For lack of a better word, I would have only one disappointment with the movie. At the end of the credits, I did not see any organizations listed,as having provided the help/information needed to make the movie and Sean Penn, in particular, do such a well done job. Why? Keep up the great job.

this movie was the greatest movie. i don`t cry easily in movies but this one really touched me, i was crying throughout the entire movie, this really is a must see movie.......go see it now (and bring a box of tissues)
