fantastic film!..superb edgy filmmaking (good to see it sway from the norm action/thriller schlock) and a great cast. SO glad to see Denzel venture into darker characters (like TrainingDay) and show he can be the most versitile actor anywhere. Remember folks, all the roles hes played as a good guy and never won an Oscar for.

Very Good Story. The movie seemed long because of all of the long, dramatic close-ups. It was worth the money overall.

man on fire was an ok movie, not great , They did not need a big name actor like Denzel for the lead role, th elittle girl was excellent, the Mom was hot, Marc Anthony and Christopher Walken were both very good, who knows or cares who anyone else was in the movie, I felt the ending was disapointing I had a better one in mind.

This movie is awesome. Action/Violence for the people that like action and violence. Suspence for people who like suspence. Touching for people who like that kinda stuff... id say everyone should watch this movie.. its awesome

This moving is FANTASTIC!!!! All the people who are bad mouthing it, have no idea what they are talking about they are either really SLOW and probably couldn`t follow the story line, or must have been thinking of another movie. Denzel is amazing and Dakota is a little star all on her own. GO SEE THIS MOVIE, IT IS THE BEST THING OUT IN A LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH DENZEL

The camera work was a little overboard, with closeups so extreme all you got was face. a LITTLE TIRING AFTER A WHILE. Denzel is a primiere actor and doesn`t disappoint. Could of used better editing to cut the length which would have improved the story.

Great Great movie !!! and i just don`t get why some people would compare it to the film Traffic ?? LOL, the latter is about drugs..?!?! the only part in this movie which may have sth to do with narcotics would have been the short rave part.... the only similarity between the 2 movies would be that it was filmed in Mexico ?? werd anywayz..2 thumbs up for the movie !!!! good job Denzel

Terrible movie! It`s about an hour too long and the story is weak. It took too long to set up the relationships between the characters and therefore caused the story to go nowhere for quite awhile. Whe the action actually started, and the girl was kidnapped (well into the film) it was unrealistic and poor! How many times can a man get shot and not die!? How long can a man survive being shot and not need or recieve treatment? The only refreshing aspect of the film is the editing and even that does get overwhelming after awhile. This film is a renter, don`t waste your time or your money at the theatre.

Excellent movie. A lot of violence, however based on the subject of the movie it was required. Definitely worth seeing. Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning are great together in this movie.

NOT better than Traffic. The movies are hardly comparable, except for their locales. Traffic is a self-reflective, serious look at a serious social problem affecting the United States and Mexico, whereas Man on Fire is a (albeit very good) revenge action movie. This being said, I do recommend it; if you can handle The Punisher, both thematically and its level of violence, than you will enjoy Man on Fire, which is a much better film.

This movie was poor! The film felt like it lost itself in many scences. It took far too long to convey ideas to the audience. I gave this movie a 2 becasue despite what I thought of the script the actors did a great job. This is the movies only saving point...but it`s a rental for sure and you will probably fall asleep at that.

MUST SEE MOVIE!!! Denzel Washington is back to his top form in this and with Christopher Walken as his sidekick/buddy is GOLD. best movie i have seen in a long time. on a scale of 1 to 10 this is a 20. Really , Do Not miss this film.

One of the worst movies I`ve seen. I actually walked out. The characters were cartoonish. The girl was cast as an 8 year old going on 40. The kidnappers were doing us a favor.

The most bloody movie that I ever seen this year so far. Excellent pairing of Denzal with Dekota. Enjoyable movie which has the action plus the chemistry and comical side of it. Movie for everybody.
