Disappointing ....original on TV had good plots, interesting character lines and more. This was terrible. Wait for the DVD and save some money if you liked the original.

Michael Mann delivers! Well crafted beautifully shot film...er` digital video to be more accurate. Had they left the love interest plot line on the cutting room floor the film would have been perfect.

I thought it was a good action movie. Not exactly what I expected - I expected a little more of a lean towards the television series (which was awesome). It seemed a little long too - but I like that in a movie.

This movie was a big waste of time. There was too much mumbling coming from Colin Ferrel. Note to Colin - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH. It was not well put together. Most of the film were money shots, for example planes, cars, skyline, and of course clothes. Car commercials are much more interesting.

I really like the gun fights and the special effects in this movie but the ending was crappy. I guess the ending is now perfectly set-up to make a second Miami Vice.

not disappointed at all `cause I never have any expectation of this movie. I just feel bad for Jamie Foxx.. it`s a waste of his talent. Think twice even if you want to rent it.

I found the movie slow and boring. While the action sequences were well filmed the movie as a whole tried too hard to be cool and lacked real substance. The characters seemed one dimensional, and I found it impossible to empathize with the protagonists.

I give this movie 1 star. I couldn`t understand half the movie due to the constant mumbling. Colin Farrell tries so hard to lose his Irish accent that you can`t understand him because he is speaking so low. 3/4`s of this movie is incredibly slow. The hour long weekly series would have been a better monies worth. Bottom line, don`t bother!

There was absolutely no comparrison to the original Miami Vice. I am very disappointed in Michael Mann - I had hoped this would be great - good actors just a bad script. The original Miami Vice had Trudy in a trailer as well - nothing else to offer??

Zzzz, oh is the movie over? Boring, predictable but ok. Although Colin Farrel is HOT, I nevertheless almost fell asleep. Better to rent the movie than pay $11.

Miami Vice is like a great chef cooking a bad meal!! These guys had no personalities...cannot compare to the original Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas. Their chemestry sucked!

The movie was thick with the Michael Mann style of film-making. The acting, however, was forced. Colin did a good enough job, but Fox was very fake. I makes you understand how good the chemistry was in the original series. Should be a good rental.

one of the worst movies i have ever seen. i was confused through the whole movie and nearly fell asleep a couple times it was so boring. colin farrell was absolutely brutal in it and there was not nearly enough action.

Horrible! The sex scenes were ridiculous, it was like they were just thrown in there to make the movie look "cool". None of the scenes connected with the scene that followed so it was all over the place. The script was the worst I have ever heard, because it didn`t make any sense whatsoever. Overall, this movie is not even worth renting.
