This is the worst among the three. First, except the ending, the preview has too much details and basically tells everything. The whole movie just a "little" more detail than the preview. No surprise or excitement at all. Second, you will feel the whole movie is so "rush" to get through all the scenes, even fighting scenes. If you really want to see this movie, wait for the DVD. It's really not worth $10/person to see it on big screen.

Too long and the story line with "evil" spider-man was too much. Incredible special effects and Toby is perfectly cast. Good casting with respect to Topher Grace. Worth seeing.

I liked the movie, but I think it could have been more better if it had more viloence and less of a love story. Besides that I love it can't wait till' Spider-man 4 hits the theater! Way to go spidey!

Trash. I loved Spiderman 1 and 2, and was really looking forward to the third. There hasn't been a train wreck like this since Superman Returns.

I was disappointed on this third sequel. Convoluted plot, too many characters/villains and lame musical/comedy themes made this the worst sequel ever.

Spider Man 3 was an awesome movie! I really enjoyed it. The special effects in that movie were awesome as well. I don't know what th other people are talking about this movie being stupid. Comic book movies aren't really suppose to go with the comic book, if it did then whats the point of watching a comic book movie? although the ending is a for sure that Spider Man 4 should be made. I was on the edge of my seat when watching the movie, it was exciting and Tobey did an awesome job being a darker side Peter Parker. It does show that everyone has a dark side within even Spider Man. I think Venom isn't gone for good.

It starts out ok, but then the middle "character exposition" was just so aweful!! Writing, acting, direction, whatever, it was painful to watch. The audience in the theatre was having more fun making fun of how bad it was than they were watching the movie. People were cheering when the movie was OVER, but not because it was good. We liked the Fantastic 4 trailer much more.

This movie is one of the worst movies i have ever seen. Venom was a huge let down, and Sandman was a pointless villan. Sam R. definately took too many liberties to the comics and added in a bunch of over the top scenes that left the audience asking "this is supposed to be funny, right? he's not serious?" Overall, i wish someone else would start directing these movies and maybe we could give some dignity back to the character and the series. Note: If you are a big fan of the television show, the comics, or venom in general.. maybe skip this one.

Aside from it being a little on the sappy side at times, it was very well done. Excellent fight scenes, Peter finding a new side of himself and a great plot. As a Spidey fan, I enjoyed it immensely.

I enjoyed the movie. It seems that people either enjoyed the movie or hated it. Maybe because there was too much hype & too much given away in the promos.I don't now what others were expecting, maybe 1 hour of video game violence. We have already seen a lot of Spidey web-slinging and fighting, keeping the cinematography fresh & unique maybe difficult. But with Peter there is a lot of drama, getting the know the person behing the mask is much more interesting. It might have been better if Venom was giving more time on screen but his only goal was to get Spider-man. I was hoping Doctor Connor would get the chance to transform into the Lizard. Part 4 maybe?

I was really disappointed esp since I loved the first 2. I left feeling really sad & empty with how it ended the the overall weak & sometimes bizarre scenes. Sam should of done a better job & ended it was a trilogy.

To all haters stop hating this movie was pretty sick, I must give it 9/10 for s spidy flick.Some scene were chezzy but thats just all jokes you have to realize what the message they were trying to say and plus venom and sandman look amazing graphics wise and all action scenes for well worth the money i say but yeah whatever pce out spidey fans im just 1 out a million.

I was really tired when I brought my 3 son's to see this and I did not fall asleep, it kept my attention from beginning to end. It was great. Kids and boyfriend said it was awsome!

The movie structure itself was quite good. Love/drama story with superheroes and villains in the mix. The action sequences, when there were some, were pretty cool looking. Overall, there was not enough action for what I expected, more of a love story. Not really as geared towards the 6 to 14 yr olds because of the story lay out. Almost got a little uncomfortable with the length and it dragged a little in some of the 8 or so sentimental moments

I felt the character development was adequate, I thought Vemon's Peter Parker was halarious as was the intent, the special effects were incredibly entertaining (as long as you don't pay too much attention to the minor details, ie. wounds). I'd say it's the best of the 3 movies.

That's where reading these reviews are disconcerning and sometimes help you enjoy a movie more, after reading a bunch of these, I lowered my expectations and as a result the crying scenes were not nearly as abundant as I thought they were gonna be. I'd say it's the best of the 3 movies.

I've watched this Movie twice 2 times already, and I really did enjoy It as well. Of course this Movie did have It's flaws but I still thought It was a Good Great Movie with a little bit of everything action of course but also Comedy, Drama, and Romance. I also had thought It had good themes in the Movie about the dangers of Revenge, friendship, true love, and forgiveness. A great Movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Not as good as Spidey 2, but it wasn't awful either. The fact that Sam Raimi works so hard on continuity really makes the movie work.

In this movie they got the casting all wrong. Superheroes are cool and they ACT dorky as there alter egoes. In this movie Spiderman IS DORKY as Peter Parker and tries to ACT Cool as Spiderman. Its just all wrong.

All the people who said they didn't like it, are all the same people who said the same about the first and second. The movie was good not great but if you allways compare movies to previous most times it will not live up. It told a story and for me it worked with the first and second. Go see this movie with an open mind and you should like it.

i simply don;t understand the whole negativity for this movie...it was so awesome. im thinking youre comparing it to spidermna 2 which was the best one so far but even that had some dramatic scenes also for the peope complainiong about the crying...there was literally one scene which in that case was understandable...this movie was totally worht the money the wait but it prolly didnt live it up to the hype as the best one but i believe it was still better then the first oe...just not the second one...great movie none the less...dont listen to those debbie downers and go see the movie for yurself

I'm a big Spiderman fan, and I couldn't wait for this to come out, only to be disappointed. It's not bad, it's just ok. I expected this to top the 2nd one and it didn't (just like Xmen 3 didn't top X2). I guess the fell into the stats of the 3rd being crap (by comparison). It stated off strong, but that's about it. Kinda pissed actually.

Too much content. People tried to complicate things so much that they didn't leave rooms for characters to develop. Good effect, good intention, but poor execution. 3 stars.
