in regards to what someone said earlier ; you`re making historical mistakes all over that comment. In the Da Vinci code, the last supper was incorrectly portrayed as a fesco, when it is infact a tempera. Also, when you call leonardo da vinci just ` da vinvi` it`s grammatically incorrect.. da vinci was not his last name, it just means " of vinci " . it makes no sense to say "the moment DaVinci painted it" is the same as saying "the moment of vinvi painted it". before you try to correct someone , learn your facts. but anyway. good movie, better book.

The truth behind the death in the Louvre was disclosed like peeling off layers of an onion....a bit at a time....grasping my attention completely. I found the movie absorbing and interesting. I enjoyed the movie from the beginning to the end. Ian M`s acting is superb - how he read the lines explaining the background of the Holy Grail cna be an acting lesson. Audrey Tautou is very refreshing....illuminating the screen when she appears. I have read the book and I like the movie version the same much. I am recommending this movie to everyone that I know.

GREAT! Obviously, the book was much better than the movie, but I think that the movie did a good job of including most of the key points from the book. It leaves some things to still be discovered for anyone who hasn`t read the book and wants to.

Having read the book, and now seen the movie I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was very well done, the acting was excellent, and was pretty true to the book`s storyline. I`m glad I didn`t listen to all of these "professional" critics. They don`t know what they`re talking about. I gave it 4 stars.

I enjoyed the movie very much. I did not read the book. I thought the movie was a great "fictional" story. It gave a lot of food for thought and conversation on the way home in the car. Good story, good acting...way to go...5 star.

I am pleased that a mediocor book didn`t spoil enjoyment of Ron Howard`s magnificently directed movie. Book - 1/2 star; Movie - 5 stars. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

Soooooo I counted 25 people talking about how "true" the movie was and how well it explains everything that happened in history. Here a little tiny tid bit of information for you... the book is located in the FICTION section of the book store! Yes, you heard me... FICTION! Just wanted to clear that up.

i cant stand ppl who say the movie was terrible and they havent even seen it... awesome movie pretty close to the book and fasinating (id recomend reading the book first. my buddy had no idea what was going on)

Not as bad as I expected but not as good as it could have been. A mediocre film with Tom Hanks showing up only at the end of the film -- which is where I wish I came in.

It didn`t live up to the hype surronding it, or maybe it was just too much hype to live up to, but it was still a very good movie. Read the book first though and remember that it is a work of FICTION.

i haven`t been back from the theatre long and the movie was so great, that when i got home i had to check the points they made on the pic of the last supper i have on the wall. it was that good. everybody, SEE IT.

The movie was fantastique. Great plot, makes you think about the hypocrisy of the church, even more than before, if that is possible. haha Go see the movie this weekend, you will enjoy yourself. I know, I did. Going to see it again tonight. Puzzles just like Indiana Jones.

The Book is the Book, This Movie is the Movie. It stands on it own. Very well done, Don`t listen to all the negitive hype, just go see it and don`t expect it to be exactly like the book. Treat it like a great movie and enjoy it.

OH MY GOD! i usually NEVER watch movies under this category, but this one was AMAZING!! tom hanks was FABULOUS as langdon and i must admit, this was $12 WELL SPENT!

Ordinary, way too long. The original rubber movie, it stretches too long. Hanks is getting to be a one dimensional actor, just like Cruise and John Trevolting.

I hate controversal films like this one. Particularly because they don`t measure up to all the hype. I`d rather see a movie that people don`t make too much noise about like `Over the hedge` with the family. This one got more attention than it certainly deserved.

I thought the Da Vinci Code was amazing i thought that all the actors fit the description in the book and i think that even if you haven`t read the book that you should go see this movie.

if you want to see the movie aspect this is sufficient, BUT IF you really want to get knowledge on the history their alluding to then read the book. they tried to put as much of the book into the movie but its not enough, they go to fast int he movie to really understand whats going on.

"Amazing movie. I challenge anyone to prove what they said in the movie wrong. YOU CAN”T!!!!" From what I see in the Last Supper, a few of the figures look like females not just the one on the left of christ, not to mention the Last Supper started to deteriorate the moment DaVinci painted it, and has been restored on numerous occasions, so based on the history of the fresco whether the figure on the left is a female or not can`t be absolutely determined. I have to say anyone who dosn`t like this movie, because of its controversy or how much dan brown is making, sucks at life. It was a good book and a well done movie. I just wish all you people who consider yourself sudden experts because you read this or saw that would get over yourselfs.

Excellent adaptation of the book - 4/5 ; as a movie excellent. If you are looking for mindless entertainment - this is definitely not your movie. This movie strikes hard against the subconscious dis-trust of large organizations - in this case the church. The audience I attended the movie with clapped - a lot of them - that says it all. BTW - It is nice to see the critics supporting the church.

It followed the book perfectly. Excellent movie and quite frankly the book has echoed beliefs I`ve held for many years, so it was nice for me to see them played out. Totally gripping from beginning to end. Tom Hanks just can`t fail at whatever he does. Could have heard a pin drop in the cinema. Can`t wait for "Angels and Demons". That book was very scary and I would love to see Ron Howard produce that one also. He is brilliant.

Excellent movie. The took a few liberties from the book, which is understandable as they had a timeframe to work with. If you haven`t red teh book you may be a ittle confused, it does help if you read the book first. I recommend it

I abdsolutely loved this movie as well as the book. I think the critics are wrong as usual and if they read the book, they would know that the caracters were played the same a they were portrayed in the novel. Excellent

Not great. I expected more of this movie and was disappointed. Poor performance by Tom Hanks, very boring. Will be hard to follow the movie if you have not read the book.

I think people need to keep an open mind. It really was an amazing movie, and kept my interest. I think people need to get it through their heads that it`s a fictional book and movie. Look in the front of the book, it says that. Give me a break. The movie was very well done. The effects were awesome... and the story-line was a good one. I`m a Christian and I still enjoyed it... but then again... I keep an open mind and I know it`s fictional. All of these stupid "Dan Brown isn`t a good author" comments aren`t right... because he really is. He was able to get his book to be well spoken about, all over. The theatre was sold out...
