  • 5 stars It was amazing. I've seen it multiple times in theatres. Casting was brilliant. It wasn't too long. And to those complaining about the ending...of course its gonna end like that! There's two more movies! Eesh. Anyway. Good to be back in Middle Earth.
  • 3 stars good movie. If you get aggrivated but changes from the book then don't watch this. SOOOO much filler added, some good, some doesn't make sense. Pretty movie, nice effects, didn't need to be this long for sure. Milking it making a short book into 3 movies of close to 3 hrs each when the book was shorter than 1 of the lord of the rings movies
  • 5 stars It was a really good movie but I wonder how they strecthed to book to make three movies out of it.
  • 5 stars A brilliant prequel to The Lord of thr rings trilogy brilliant epic and masterful film making infinity and beyond stars spectacular super excellent an instant classic amazing one of the bet movies of all Time!!!!!! A brilliant stunning master piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 4 stars An amazing movie. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The time flew by even though it was a long movie.
  • 2 stars Well it was a very good adaption to the book.It is such a dark movie & at times theres more taklkin then moving on, it was to long,. It was not the gretaest nor was it the worse I ever saw. I do hope someone will write a review in a magazine or somewhere as to how the movie draws to it's end.
  • 4 stars it was okay but too long and the ending kind of dumb. the movie pretty much had no ending, just gor cut off...
  • 3 stars it could have been a good movie, but it's just way to LONG, we nearly left in the middle.Save the ticket price and rent it when you can
  • 4 stars it was a great movie. Martin Freeman played Bilbo Baggins really good.
  • 3 stars not bad but found it to be very slow while trying very hard to be funny.
