I loved it :)
It was an amazing movie the scenery was amazing. Went with my aunt who has never seen this movie not even the original
I loved it AWSOME movie😊😊😊
Thank you Disney, you made another good movie! we and our 5 grandchildren and 2 children, accompanied us to see it and we all loved it! a good presentation of good and evil and making our choice will be our demise. it's a good lesson of right and wrong, little of which our world discerns today.
SUPPPERR BORING good same old story line not a Disney lover
This movie did not dissapoint!! Loved it!
I thought it was a great remake of the original. Most excellent
Very boring... The original cast from the 90s was a billion time better also the animation. Thanks but no Thanks for this one...
Fantastic! Enjoyed everything about it. Still love the animated version too.
What a beautiful movie!! and i'am going back today with my grandson! and for the idiot who put 1 star you really dont know nothing about movies!!!!
Great Movie !!!
Awesome !!!
As great as the animated version. Great soundtrack & message. . The 1 * idiots, you can't ever please. Why don't they go eat an alligator or something. rh
It was wonderful, exceeded expectations
Easy five stars
This movie was as great a sthe cartoon version minus 2 songs. The combination of live animals and animatronics was great! The grandkids loved every minute and so did we! Would go see it again in a heartbeat!
Fantastic 5 stars
This remake was very disappointing. Trying to make the animals look real and as if they were talking was a bad mistake.
I loved this movie me my daughter and my grandsons went and watched it and it was awrsome
Awesome movie and loved it and seen it 2 times
Great movie!
Was hesitant at first to see the movie as I figured just a kids show. I was wrong, great movie for all ages. The ending was predictable but none the less fantastic show that kept you wanting to not take your eye off the screen.
The animals and background was wonderful. In order to get the animals like they were, it had to take a long time to photograph them in different positions. It was very uplifting and I really enjoyed it.
I liked it, but it will never be as good as the original cartoon. More colorful could've been added, however, the small kids at the theater didn't seem to mind. And as most who already seen it, there was the 15 second or so part that should not have been put in the movie. James Earl Jones' voice is just as remarkable as it is in anything he's in.
Better than the original! Granddaughters loved it!
Not as good as the first one which was animated. Was disappointed. The first one you could believe the animals where talking because it was animated. This one seemed unreal because it was made to looked like the real animals were talking which made the movie seem unreal (fake).
Go watch it now stop reading and watch
Amazing it such a good movie I really enjoyed it
No where near as good as rhe original which was animated. This movie should have been animated as well and should have picked up where the original left off instead of trying to copy the same movie.
I did not like it as much as the cartoon one. It needs more color and the lions look emeciated/too skinny. No expression. The hyanas were worse. The cartoon one was so much funny. Disney missed
I liked it…..better than the animated version....which was painfully slow....this one moved along better....and the kids seemed to like it. I personally abhor the political correctness that seeps into every movie today.....and this was no exception....it's propaganda and this is aimed at kids.....just horrid. Disney is the best at this type of film....not 5 star for me, but close.....STOP THE PC STUFF!!
8 & 6 year old grandsons liked it. I personally thought the animated version was better..
Loved it! Loved it! Loved It! The original is one of my favorite movie so I did not know what to expect with this remake but it does not disappoint. The live-action technology is amazing. Go see it and ENJOY!!!!
The movie was fantastic! I had seen the original when it was in theaters and bought the video to watch again and again! But this rendition is beyond my expectations! I was enthralled from beginning to end! Hopefully I will be able to see it again before it leaves our theater!
How could anyone give this movie less then 5 stars it was amazing.
The graphics were incredible! The story line, as it was in the original movie. Who gets tired of James Earl Jones! He is awesome! I loved the movie and so did my daughter and my teenage grandson and 4 year old granddaughter. Rated PG. Simply amazing!
No imagination or creativity. A boring cash grab. From someone who grew up on the original.
Not worth seeing. Go see Toy Story instead.
Stunning CGI, so realistically breathtaking. I advise you prepare yourself NOT to make comparisons to original, otherwise may be disappointed somewhat. This is a more 'real' film that impresses yet elicits similar emotions like the first. Glad James Earl Jones did Mufasa again and wish Jeremy Irons had done Scar. I did not give 5 stars because I prefer the singers and arrangement of some songs in the original. People clapped at the end, so enjoy.
Yet another remake that follows an original film so slavishly, yet is "cold around the heart". This somehow adds a half hour of running time, but nothing else. The animation of the lip movement when the animals talk just seems creepy. I was dragged to this. This is hollow; and this is not a creative enterprise...this is just recycling for profit.
Go see it, don't let the bad reviews spoil the experience you could be having! - One of Disney's best, as they have perfected CGI with this one because at one-time hair whether it was on humans or an animal didn't always look real enough & getting animal movements was also a very difficult thing to produce because each one moves in there own way. So it seems those working on this film have done their homework & studied the movements & each hair of every animal on the screen & there are a lot of them showing up at one time. So along with a story-line that keeps you watching the screen, this is one movie that is very well done & seems so real at times it just may scare the younger children, not like the 1st Lion King! Just to show you how much people were affected by the film, many broke out in clapping when the movie ended which even though I love it I would only do at a live stage show!
not my favorite. Saw original when it first came out at movies and this remake does not come close. The voices were all wrong and skipped out on some of my favorite scenes. I also thought the songs sounded awful. I was disappointed.
Awesome!! A lot of good can be learned from that movie!! Kudos to the writers, directors and all who were involved!!
The animation was stunning, the rest lacked emotion and creativity. I was quite disappointed with the casting and even James Earl Jones reprisal lacked the emotional presence the original had.
Great for the kiddos, Disney fanatics, and anyone who has not seen any previous version. Otherwise, while acceptable entertainment, the musical score was flat, the computer generated scenery of the kingdom generated no awe (or ah's) and with the exception of the evil "Scar" and the warthog, the "acting" as uninspiring and unimaginative beyond the script read, It wasn't awful.
It brought my childhood back to life...spot on. It was incredible. Worth the wait for it to come to theaters
Loved the movie,it most definitely touch's the heart.Job well done
I saw the movie this afternoon. I had liked it
If you have cat, you will appreciate this movie much more. It definitely melted my heart.
Could have been an hour shorter without all the songs. 2/5
