I love the Cineplex North Edmonton theatres. I have always had the best service, friendliest and most helpful of any other theatre.

VIP is awesome
February 13, 2019
Everything is damn good in VIP. Seats are too comfortable with stretchable leg rest, sound and picture quality pro excellent and the screen is at the right distance. I felt like I am watching in my private home theater. Going to watch Alita today in the VIP again, with my wife. I wish we will get the same row and same seats.
Glorified fast food
October 06, 2018
The kitchen at VIP North Edm has just opened. All their food is a frozen product. There is NO actual cooking here. Everything made here is either brought up to temperature in a convection oven, microwaved or deep fried. The burgers are awful, no taste...basically like cardboard. The gravy, macaroni & cheese, pulled pork, etc are a pre made frozen product. The pizza doughs are also frozen, they cant even make dough here. The nachos are only sprinkled with cheese and tomatoes...and jalapenos. They prepare food like all fast food places, make the burgers, bacon, chicken fingers and then put them in a slide warmer...just like mcdonalds. Nothing here is made to order. they put hot sauce tossed on cauliflower bites...gross. They pre cook the fries and then have them dripping in grease before they cook them again...mmmmm!! The pizzas are flashed baked in a oven that is over 750 degrees for 125 seconds...its usually raw in places and burnt on the edges. If you want fresh, good and favorable food....don't order nothing here.
Good popcorn, bad food
March 12, 2018
I like the screen size and sound at Cineplex. That is as far as the good goes. The food is worse than a chip stand- french fries are double fried so they are full of oil. It's gag inducing. There are no burgers because they save them for the deluxe Windermere experience you should have. I've heard food is no better at Windermere. The hot food at Cineplex tastes like they took all the rejects from Mcdonalds, fed them drugs to fry their brains, made them food managers and now the poor staff have to serve bad pizza, oily fries, pulled pork that tastes like the pig was dead for weeks...etc... do your stomach a favor, have a small popcorn and pop and consider yourself lucky. Otherwise, the theaters are ok and sound/screen is good!
Hair in popcorn
January 24, 2018
Hair in popcorn, and has happened a few times in the past.. yucc! Why doesn't the board of health force the use of hairnets? And cineplex is getting greedy with upping the prices on popcorn. Also if you were to see the theater seats in a lit theater you would be disgusted. They are filthy. With the exorbitant prices people pay to see a movie and have snacks..you would think the theaters could afford to clean the seats every few months.
Poor customer service
January 07, 2018
Sound level was too low, which can never be said as most are too loud. Bought a large coke, didn't realize until movie started and we took a sip that the pop syrup was out so we got carbonated water. Went to customer service after movie ended to get refund but they offered to refill it instead??!! Movie over, nearly midnight, what the heck am I going to do with a refill of a large pop????!!!! Gal looked at us and shrugged and turned away. Awful customer service.!!!

This theatre needs to be cleaned. Piles of garbage on the floor by the ticket booth and sticky theatre floor with tons of garbage behind the seat. No wipes to wipe down the booster seats for kids.
love the bleacher seating ...my favorite theater

Like the seating plan. Good popcorn. Large venue. Good parking. Superior to other Cinemas in north Edmonton.
