Very busy theatre

This is a very busy theatre and lacking in customer service. There isn't enough of it. The concession is good and the place is clean. But not my fav place. Very handy from the subway and buses but you do have to go outside and walk through allllllll that construction.

Favorite movie place

This is an excellent spot for a movie theatre. With all the construction going on, it is nice that you do not have to go outside from the bus or train. Also the Mandarin is in the same building. If you do choose to drive, parking is available on the roof. And while I love the location etc., I do have to say this theatre is old and it shows. Please repair the seats. Too many are covered in plastic and are falling apart. And walking up all those stairs to get to the washrooms is quite a trek. Seriously needs an update.

No A/C in summer, no heat in winter

It’s obvious they will not make it comfortable for their patrons as this complaint has been lodged many times over and over. Shiver in winter and sweat in summer. I hope an American chain buys cineplex and provides good service and comfortable theatres. The Yonge eglinton theatre north 1 block also denies patrons comfortable theatres- exact same issue. They won’t spend the money to keep their theatres comfortable at the expense of their patrons! And take their patrons for granted.

Make Show Listing Visible to Customers like in the past!

Been going to this theatre for years, and recently they have stopped putting their show listings visible to customers. We have to search out a 8 X 10 printed listing sheet. Ridiculous! Most of the time we have to go to the concession counter and ask for listings! Bad service to us who have been going there for years!

My favourite theatre in Toronto

The employees and managers at this theatre are always smiling and talking to their guests. The people who work here really care about their customers. Not like other theatres in the city that treat you like cattle. Yes, the theatre is older and doesn't have "stadium" type seating. But it is newly painted and carpeted and is kept immaculately clean. The theatre shows a great mixture of Hollywood blockbusters and smaller independent type films.

Wonderful Neighbourhood Theater

The Canada Square Theater is a charming and intimate place to see a wide variety of films. The team always has a smile for their customers and is always friendly. I can walk over to this theater and spend a couple of relaxing hours. It is like going on vacation without having to pack. The first film I saw at Canada Square in 1986 was Runaway Train with John Voight and Eric Roberts. It is quieter that the larger theaters which makes movie watching aa real pleasure. Thank you!
