Could do better!

November 27, 2019

I am a regular patron and have often found the service to be poor. One bad experience was to watch a movie and find that the previous guest had left chewing gum on the seat and it was now stuck to my good pants. On the way out I mentioned it to one one of the employees and received a shrug. Not impressed.

I love taking my nine-year-old grandson we have been going there since he was a year old. We just love it. It's our time together.

Improve selection

May 06, 2017

People over the age of 55 are tired of poor selection of movies. Most movies selected for this theatre are for younger teenage audiences. Sick to death of not getting good entertainment and answers from staff and manager--" well head office selects the movies". I wonder if any manager or staff member report complaints to head office--I mean it is one way to keep your job if no one complains.

great theatre

April 03, 2015

So happy to have a theatre with so much choice near our cottage! Has all the latest blockbuster movies and 7 screens. As another reviewer noted, not all movies make it here, especially smaller releases and indies. However, I live in the GTA and we rarely get those either- have to go downtown TO for those. Older building but clean and well maintained. Helpful staff. And price is much cheaper than GTA for same movies!

nice comfortable theatre -- great experience

December 01, 2013

I was very pleasantly surprised when I first attended this theatre to find that it was every bit as nice and well run as similar theatres in large cities -- virtually identical to a theatre I frequent in Calgary when I'm there. Twice I've spoken with staff when I had a problem of some sort and both times they were extremely helpful. I find nothing to complain about whatsoever.

Left without buying a ticket

June 26, 2013

My wife and I attended the theatre Wednesday night at 8pm for Man of Steel starting at 8:10 pm. The ticket counter was closed and the ticket machine was out of order. There was at least 30 people in line from the snack bar to just inside the front door trying to buy tickets and their food which really slowed things down. By 8:30 we were still not close to getting our tickets . We complained to the acting manager and left. Under the circumstances a simple solution would have been to use one of the concession tills to sell tickets only to let us get in quickly to our seats and we could come back for food, etc later. We were very disappointed.
