I just watch this movie I think that it was a very good movie. These people who say that it is hard to get the movie well they can not get them self then. You do not have to be smart to get it. It's very very very good. so to the people that have not seen this movie do not listen to the people that say bad thing about it because they maybe liked it but they say that so that you do not get to watch it. so watch the movie YOU WILL LIKE IT. :)

Best movie since 300, I can hardly wait for the directors cut for the extra 45 minutes of footage they took out. Amazing job rendering the graphic novel into movie form. The 2:45 running time seemed to fly by. Will be seeing it again in the theatre at least once more.

It was ok. I recommend renting it. I haven't read any of the comics so came in with no clue what to expect. You would think someone as powerful as Mr.Manhattan could conjure up some pants instead of the blue schlong hanging out all the time. Nudity was tame, story took way to long to tell and a little weak, some action scenes were pretty cool, the gore seemed to be over accessive just for shock value no other reason that I can think of.

this movie was long and drawn out, there was too much emphasis on boring story telling and horrible dialogue. i do not recommend anyone watch this movie, there are some people who say you need to know the whole story behind the watchmen and it's not a typical comic movie, the first hulk movie was more enjoyable then this piece of garbage. horrible acting, horrible action sequences and to kick it all off when the big twist is unveiled at the end, u feel even more ripped off, it was like they were trying really hard to make a valued point. i walked out on the movie right at the end, because i couldnt stand the boring dialogue that i had already endured for the first two hours of the movie.

If you like to see non stop blue johnsons, outrageously long dialogue, minimal action scenes, wild cat/unicorn animals you'll absolutely love this movie. Quite honestly the best part was Rorschach beating the living hell out of everyone/everything in his way. (ie. prison scene)

1 Word, Blue Balls..lol , I kid. The movie is awesome. If u think your going to see a regular comic book movie, you shouldn't be going. Read the graphic novel, or get someone who has to tell you whats going on before you do. Hadd I gone in with no idea of what was going on, I would have been taken back too. But you need to understand that its not your typically good vs. evil superhero movie.

Very layered and complex intertwined story, brutal gory depictions but a little short on action, ideology and story made up for the lost action.

There was some cool action in the first half hour... We walked out after we were still sitting there for two and a half hours, but we still didn't know what was going on. It was rediculous.

I loved the graphic novel, hated the movie. I found it needlessly violent, disgustingly so. I know the comic was violent but it was an implied horror, that let you fill in the blanks. The movie, was for the most part true to the novel, but failed to capture the subtleties that made the graphic novel so compelling. Honestly the violence was so disgusting and unnecessary that I'm just going to curl up with the comic and forget the movie ever happened.

3 hours of my life i'll never get back. People were getting up half way through the movie. I should have done the same. All of a sudden Mr. Manhattan went to Mars to build a giant crystal thing....wtf? Then there was that lion at the end with the long ears....wtf? The movie was a little heavy in the blue schlong department....why was he naked? Terrible movie...waste of time.

I fell asleep...it's not that the story is complex, or that you have to be a "thinking person" to enjoy this, the truth of the matter is that THE WATCHMEN is surprisingly boring. Rent it! Don't waste your hard earned moey on it theatrically.

if you like mac and cheese you will like this movie why you ask its because it just like it first you have to wait a while before you get to enjoy the watchmen. for the people who said it was boring are the people who didn't spend the time to read the comic or watch the motion comic for those fans who can't read.

Its a cliche ecncompassing attributes of all superhero characters involving a disjointed plot. Basically, it was a corney production with no real riviting action scenes. The special affects for glowman were interesting however that wasn't enough to maintain interest as the movie went on and on and on.

If you have an imagination and enjoy comic book style movies - then this is for you. It brings real-life culture into the mix by incoporating figures like Nixon and Warhol into the mix. The soundtrack was amazing! To say this movie was boring seems bizzare. I think some people like movies where you do not have to think...which usually are the terrible movies. As a fan of the novel and ideas behind it I thought this was an excellent movie, it brilliantly conveyed the feel of the book, the scenes and characterizations were bang on. Going to see it again

How this movie obtained 4 stars is beyond me. Must be a predominantly male population voting for the sheer amount of tasteless nudity and ridiculous fighting scenes... seems like a spoof of batman.

I was so disapointed. The acting is very poor. The story is ok, but the movie is slow moving and not very exciting at all. The special effects were good but not great. I understand the movie and it made perfect sense to me but it just is not that great. It is for sure for a person who is a big fan of the novels, otherwise you may not like it. It is ok but far from great!

I had high expectations for this movie, for the most part met. It looked cool, great effects, a certain sense of plausability, adult oriented...just long. A good 45 minutes could have been taken out. I give it 3.50 out of 5.00

My wife said: She wanted to see more erect shots of Mr. Manhattan. Lol. I did not think there was enough nudity. And the sex was quite tame. Would have like more eroticism (not pornography) in sex scenes.This film has NO porno.
