Please rate movie 1 to 5 stars
As a paramedic/firefighter it was so nice to see a movie that portrayed what the family of these two men went through. Nice to see. I liked the fact that it was not all firefighter glam. Very respectiful that you did not see the planes crash (again, and again) I think he have seen enough of that already. Great movie.
Not enough action.
I cried a lot, which is unlike me! Such a powerful movie.
I really liked it since it was based upon true events and real family`s lives that were affected Sept. 11/01.
stupid -- far too pro-american
i like the movies and it will be the best movies of the year and all my family and all my friends whent to the movies and we all love the movies
Best movie I have seen in a long long time
Boring... I slept throught it.....ZZZZZZZ
Liked the movie would like somebody to some more research and do another!
Selfish and banal.
OK movie ... but overdramatized
Very well done on a personal human level.
Excellent movie. There was not one woman in the audience that was not crying. To top it off, the theater was very, very quiet when the movie ended, except for the scattered "wow". A must see.
Was not what I was expecting... It was too long. Could of cut 30 mins off this movie. 2/5
Touching Story, well done making
I enjoyed it immensely and thought it was very well done. It`s a very emotional film and live each of the emotions throught the characters....I cried several times...it was very intense
Tranatic for suvivors and their families.
I liked this movie very much. What I liked most about it was the fact that it focused on these two guys and their families. Not so much on the whole terrible story. I think that would be impossible. The effects were also very good. I have seen Nick Cage do better acting, but what can you do when you film a whole movie laying on your side. Worth seeing.
Oh Oliver. Say it ain`t so. Who is this guy and what have you done with Nick Cage? This is quite possibly the worse movie I have ever seen. The dialogue makes the worst daytime TV look brilliant. To be fair the rescue scenes were well done but that G.I. Joe?? We can all rest easier knowing he is on the job. Not.
So thoroughly realistic it brought back the horror of the day. It was well acted and very inspiring. It truly shows the strength of man kind in contrast to its evil. I would highly recommend the move, though go equipped with kleenex.
A truely amazing movie. I was able to feel the pain and the sorrow that the victims of 9/11 had to go through. It is a must-see, and for people who are going to see it -- bring some tissue paper.
wow...just wow.
This movie is absolutely riveting!! This is an incredible survival story and a wonderful portrait of the heroes of that day. It is something everyone should see....WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET!!
too much world, not enough trade center-ing
tuggs on the heart strings, makes you realize what went on in the world that day.
A very difficult subject, handled very well, very moving.
Very good Nicholas Gage movie! Go see it.
It was a sad movie to watch all over again but was good that it made some of us see what was really going on down there.
An excellent movie showing the personal stories of two port authority policemen; it helps us remember that not only NYFD and NYPD officers lost their lives in this tragedy.
Good movie but not Oliver Stone-y.
Very touching... It WILL make you cry!
Outstanding direction and acting. A must to see. Compelling and Riveting.
Tramatic for survivors
this is a great moive.and my heart goes out to all poeple that work at the world trade center on spetember 11 2001,and to all the familys.
I didn`t like this movie. Nothing about it was related to art in any way. Shoudn`t be even nominated for Oscar.
I thought world trade center was an awesome movie, The special effects made you feel like you were right there, my heart was pounding. It made me cry thinking of how many heroes there were that day and the trauma they all had to suffer. At the end of the movie you could hear a pin drop. Great movie, I will definitely buy it when it comes out.
This movie was better than I thought it would be. The story line was good, and it was not "overly American" (except for the Marine). But that being said, it is based on true accounts of survivors. Glad to hear part of the profits are going to charities supporting post-9/11 surviviors/programs.
WORLD TRADE CENTER IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS OF THE YEAR!!! THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL FILM!!!
World Trade Center is the most dramatic, tramatic, realistic movie-it was so sad and the tyhe saddest part of all was that this was not some made up movie, this movie is based on a true event that will never be forgotten!! I was in tears throughout the whole movie; and after having watching it, it brought back memories of that every day when it happened-i remebered having seen it on the news, hearing it over the school annoucnements and posted all over the internet and in the newspapers. Although i may be a candian citizen, it still afftected me. The movie showed us how those who liv4d in new york were affected emotinally and it was soo sad and
This movies lacks the usual Oliver Stone style and substance which is a good thing. He makes up for his last doozie ("Alexander") with this one. Best performance by Nicholas Cage. The Oscar goes to Nicholas Cage this year. WTC probably the best picture of the year.
For those complaining about capitalizing on tradgedy, I`d suggest you check out the official movie site, where you will find that for the opening, Aug 9-13 10% of all ticket sales from all theatres in the US went to 4 separte World Trade Centre Charities. That`s commendable. I haven`t seen the movie yet, but probably will. If anything, it serves to "humanize" the tragedy. It also serves as a reminder for us not to forget.
such a movie, i thought i was there ,my heart was beating so hard in parts of it.excellent job on the movie.I want to go and watch it again.
My husband and I saw `World Trade Center` the other night. At the end of the movie, you could have heard a pin drop. Movies are made out of tragedies like 911, and the first and second world war,and the assasination of John F. Kennedy, for a very good reason: This is how, as humanity we make sense of the chaos in our world. Oliver Stone did a tremendous job of bringing one of the 911`s countless mcidents to life for us. I really believe that the message is that we must not forget but also that even the most painful circumstances are not without bravery, endurance, love and even - yes - a joyous ending.
I thought they did a good job of concentrating on the events following the attack, showing how citizens came together & not the actual attack
Excellent movie - Oliver Stone did a great job once again - so heart-wrenching - let us hope this day never happens again
world trade center - 8/10 Alright this is probably the hardest movie I would ever have to rate. The movie was preaty good but its one that I wish I did not see. Like while watching it, I was anxious and in a way emotionally uncomfortable. To watch something, in your own way you lived through, it was kind of nerve racking. But the movie showed a good message to me that wasnt shown in the movie. It showed how demoralized the new generation is. I was probably the youngest person in the theater of about, probably 60. By the end of the movie, when they are showing the facts about the amount of fatalities, about 70% of them were in tears. Where
horrrrrrrrible movie of all time.
realistic and dramatic
Tramatic for survivors.
Excellent movie, very realistic and scary, I pray to God it does not happen again.
