Cineplex Cinemas Metropolis

Located in the eastern Vancouver suburb of Burnaby, the Metropolis is equipped with 10 large auditoriums. It is attached to the Metropolis at Metrotown, the largest mall in British Columbia, and customers who arrive through the SkyTrain rapid transit from the heart of the city can get to the theatre in good time. On top of showing first-run features, SilverCity Metropolis also has room for private screenings of operas, WWE wresting and classic films. Of course, the fundamental SilverCity goodies—stadium seating, surround sound, yummy fast-food options—are all present. The theatre, which opened in 1998, now has two UltraAVX auditoriums. Wheelchair accessibility is offered, as are Fidelio described video, Assisted Listening Devices and CaptiView Captioning. Mall parking is available.
