Known as the Forum 22, this cinema complex opened May 4th 2001 as part of the AMC chain. Nine years later, 3 more digital projectors were installed and an ETX system, which has a 20 per cent larger screen, 11 channels of sound and an 8 megapixel screen making Forum 22 Montreal and Quebec’s most popular theatre to date. The theatre has a diverse mix of movies ranging from Hollywood blockbusters, independent films, foreign (or Quebec) films subtitled in English, and big Bollywood releases. Best place to park: On-site indoor parking and conveniently some restaurants are inside the same building. There is also free street parking on Monday to Wednesday evenings.
