Galaxy Cinemas Belleville

The first Famous Players cinema to be rebranded as a Galaxy in November 2009, this eight-screen theatre in Belleville originally opened in 1998 to replace a twin theatre in the town’s Quinte Mall area. When updated in 2009, the theatre became like a larger multiplex, equipped with various fast food outlets, such as Yogen Fruz and Far Coast coffee, an updated lobby with LCD screens and new party rooms. It also turned four of its eight existing sloped floor auditoriums into ones with stadium seating. The theatre can seat 1,792 at full capacity.
