Landmark Cinemas 24 IMAX Whitby
The focal point of the Whitby Entertainment Centrum, is the 92,000 square-foot theatre (with a whopping 4,776 seats and more than 2,000 nearby parking spots). Opening in November 1999, the Whitby 24 was an AMC Theatre before being purchased by Landmark. It has a High Impact Theatre System (HITS), which features screens that extend from wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor, offering a premiere viewing experience. The IMAX cinema opened in October 2010.
