Jodie Foster and her co-star, Terrence Howard, walked the red carpet at the world premiere of their new movie, The Brave One, last night at the Ryerson Theatre. Foster flew in all the way from Australia, where she's currently filming, to attend. The stars were also present at a press conference yesterday at the Sutton Place, where Foster, who's completely bilingual, answered questions both in English and French. When a reporter from Montreal continued on in French with Howard, he replied with a shrug, "Je ne sais pas," which got a big laugh. The movie opens wide on Friday, September 14. Tonight the gala presentations of Michael Clayton, starring George Clooney, and Rendition, starring Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal will screen. All three will be walking the red carpet at Roy Thomson Hall. Both films receive wide releases next month.
