Emma Stone cracks the rumor mill in Easy A

Psst... did you hear? Emma Stone (The House Bunny, Zombieland) has all the elements of a great comedic actress. She's quick, sarcastic and has that sweet, gorgeous geek chic look going on. Well, at least she does in her new comedy Easy A.

Set to debut during The Toronto International Film Festival, Easy A finds Stone's character Olive Penderghast on an unconventional path to popularity. After she tells her best friend a little white lie about losing her virginity, she instantly becomes known as the school slut. But for the once "non-existent" Olive, life has improved and she decides to use the rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing.

Directed by Will Gluck, Easy A also stars Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Cam Gigandet, Stanley Tucci, Patricia Clarkson, Thomas Haden Church and Lisa Kudrow. There's also a cool nod to a famous '80s director in the story line. It's...well, I can't tell you because I know what will happen if I do.
