Tribute Lounges

Ame (located at Mercer & John, around the corner from the new Bell Lightbox) has a modern Japanese menu which can be sampled at the sushi/sashimi counter, in the lounge or the dining room. Don’t miss Ame’s extensive scotch and sake list, or sample a cocktail made by a mixologist (they make their own infusions using seasonal ingredients.) www.amecuisine.com

The Stirling Room (Distillery District) combines contemporary design with historic architecture –and the DJ booth is a deep purple baby grand piano with the equipment sitting where the keyboard should be! The venue is a place to relax and have fun, whether for a cocktail and nibbles from the tasting menu or for a night out. www.stirlingroom.com

Ultra (Queen and Soho) behind the red doors, Ultra has a reputation for dining, cocktails, socializing and stargazing, including ten course dinners. Don’t miss the wall of 15 foot tall roosters! www.Ultratoronto.com
