Saad Siddiqui—who has been attending the Toronto International Film Festival for six years—told Tribute.ca that he thought the fun of making Ruba Nadda's Inescapable was how it depicts contemporary Syria and how relevant it is to current events. In this interview, he also talks about how he's used filmmaking as an escape, his inspirations and how he and his co-star did all their own stunts.
