Emayatzy Corinealdi and Omari Hardwick each take on equally challenging roles in Ava DuVernay’s Middle of Nowhere—Hardwick plays a man who’s sentenced to eight years in prison and Corinealdi plays his wife who sacrifices everything to stand by him. The pair sat down with Tribute.ca and in talking about the film, they describe DuVernay as the “dream director.” They also discuss some of their upcoming roles and what other actors and directors they hope to someday get the chance of working with.
