Day 2 of TIFF 2016 - what to see!

Last night Toronto enjoyed a thrill when we got a look at the opening film of the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival - The Magnificent Seven and the entire magnificent cast! But the great experiences at TIFF don't stop there! Check out which films are enjoying red carpets tonight at a variety of venues.

David Oyelowo, Tom Felton, Jessica Oyelowo, Laura Carmichael and director Amma Asante will arrive at approximately 5:15 p.m. on the red carpet at Roy Thomson Hall for the screening of A United Kingdom. The film plays at 6:30 p.m.

One of the most anticipated films of the festival, Snowden, plays at 9:30 p.m. at Roy Thomson Hall. Expected to walk the red carpet starting at 8:15 p.m. are director Oliver Stone and cast members Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson and Ben Schnetzer.

Just across the street at the Princess of Wales, American Pastoral screens at 6:30 p.m. Walking the red carpet at 5:30 p.m. will be Ewan McGregor, Jennifer Connelly, Dakota Fanning, David StrathairnRupert Evans, Uzo Aduba, Peter Riegert and Molly Parker.

That's not all - later in the evening at 10 p.m. Trespass Against Us will enjoy its TIFF premiere, also at Princess of Wales. Talent walking the red carpet starting at 9 p.m. includes Michael Fassbender, Lyndsey Marshal and director Adam Smith.

Ryerson Theatre is also enjoying a couple of red carpets with A-list stars. First off, expect the cast of Catfight, including Sandra Oh, Anne Heche, Ariel Kavoussi, Guillan Guello and Justiin A. Davis, as well as director Onur Tukel, to begin arriving at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:15 screening, then stay as Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis,  Olivia Wilde, Tim Blake Nelson and Austin Stowell - the stars of Colossal, join director Nacho Vigalondo at 8:15 p.m. before they heading into the theater for a 9 p.m. screening.
