Ewan McGregor premieres his directorial debut American Pastoral

2016 Toronto International Film Festival - "American Pastoral" PremiereThe stars of American Pastoral hit the red carpet in Toronto last night and it was an evening of stunning fashion, megawatt smiles, and the Hollywood elite.

A-lister Ewan McGregor made sure to wave to the droves of adoring fans (and check the weather) when he arrived to premiere his directorial debut. The film, which Ewan also stars in, is an adaptation of Philip Roth's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and follows a family in the midst of a social and political upheaval in the 1960s.

Although Ewan and his co-star Mark Hildreth looked very much like dapper gentleman, the ladies definitely stole the red carpet. Jennifer Connolly, Dakota Fanning, Uzo Aduba, and Valorie Curry, who all star in the period drama, lit up King Street. While both Dakota and Uzo sported ultra-colorful gowns, Jennifer opted for a sleek black and white leather number, and Valorie shone bright in a sequined sheath dress.
