The trailer for Alpha begins with a young man (Kodi Smit-McPhee) embarking on his first hunt with his tribe. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned as he is injured and thought to be dead by his tribesmen. He then finds himself alone in the wilderness and must struggle to survive against treacherous weather and natural threats. It is during this time that he befriends a lone wolf and the two build a bond whose limit will be tested as they try to find their way home before the onset of winter.
