In the magical premiere trailer for Leap!, Félicie (Elle Fanning) playfully throws dinner plates at her friend and fellow orphan Victor (Dane DeHaan) while toiling away in the kitchen of their orphanage. Despite her modest upbringing and one or two nuns telling her otherwise, Félicie remains a vivacious young girl who is ready to move beyond her small town.
One night, Félicie and Victor decide to escape to Paris together. With no money to travel, Victor builds wings that through sheer magic, actually work and the two friends are off to the city of lights, where Félicie will pursue her dreams of becoming a ballerina. While Victor attempts his own career as the "greatest inventor of all time," Félicie auditions for a spot at a prestigious dance school, but is rejected due to her lack of training. Just when she thinks her new Parisian life is over, Félicie meets a former ballerina who decides to help her dreams come true.
