Baywatch - Official Teaser Trailer

The colorful teaser trailer for Baywatch begins with a sweeping shot of the Pacific Ocean at sunset, as Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson) explains the life and death duties of a lifeguard. "We are the heart and soul of this very beach," he declares, running alongside his team of bodacious lifesavers. "We protect what other people don't want to protect," he continues, as he heroically rescues a woman from a massive boat fire.

Unfortunately, Mitch's important work will soon become obsolete — Captain Thorpe (Rob Huebel) has just informed him that city council will cut their funds if they don't figure out a way to restore the lifeguarding brand. This is where popular extreme athlete Matt Brody (Zac Efron) comes in, much to Mitch's chagrin. While Matt is young, lively, and fit, he is also crass, obnoxious, reckless, and may just have a serious drinking problem. Either way, the new partners, along with beautiful lifeguard Summer (Alexandra Daddario), must now learn to work together in order to save Baywatch Headquarters from extinction.
