In the official trailer for Bright, the scene opens with Scott Ward (Will Smith), a human cop, who tries to get rid of a fairy in the birdfeeder outside his house. He explains to his daughter that all the races, including humans, orcs and elves, are trying to get along. Scott is partnered with an orc named Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton) in the Los Angeles Police Department. Scott and Nick go an adventure when they stumble upon an ancient relic known as the wand.
