In this first trailer for the film adaptation of the hit Masterpiece Theatre series Downton Abbey, we arrive at the Crawley estate in 1927 to the news that the King and Queen will be visiting. This prompts Lord and Lady Grantham (Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern) and their servants to double their efforts in presenting the residence and sends Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) seeking the help and return of Mr. Carson (Jim Carter). The upcoming arrival of the royals sets the community in a stir that will leave the Crawleys changed in these modern times.
