In a post-apocalyptic universe where planets are at war over an extremely limited resource, a woman (Zendaya) appears at the summit of a dune. She recalls how outsiders ravaged her once-beautiful land, turning it into a dangerous and war-torn terrain. Another man, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) sees the woman in his dreams, only to realize that his dreams are actually visions of the future. In this near future, the fight to secure the coveted resource intensifies and mankind pushes itself to the brink as human and supernatural forces vie for control.
