Bill Cage (Tom Cruise) keeps dying and waking up to find out he’s alive. Flash-forward to the alien invasion and once again, Bill wakes up back in time, safe and sound.
Just before he dies again, Rita (Emily Blunt) tells to find her when he wakes up. He goes to her to find out what’s happening to him and she tells him she experiences the same thing. She asks for his help in winning the war and offers to train him.
