In the trailer for Every Day, a teenage girl named Rhiannon (Angourie Rice) asks a boy named Justin (Justice Smith) if they can hang out. He smiles and we next see them running on a beach, touring an aquarium, and going for a walk. She opens a fortune cookie and reads, "You have a nice smile." Justin says, "Story checks out. Good job cookie." They kiss. Next, Rhiannon is talking to a dark-haired girl in a library. The girl tells her she wakes up in a different body every day. She tries to explain to Rhiannon that she's met her many times before, and that she was Justin the day they had a date. Rhiannon gets up, saying, "It's no possible." The girl recites, "You have a nice smile," which stops Rhiannon in her tracks. Next, the person is an Asian male, who tries to explain more of what he goes through every day. When he wakes up in the body of a chubby teen whose family is about to move out of town, he begins running to Rhiannon's house, but gets out of breath and complains, "Oh my god, this kid does not exercise!" However, he begins to realize his presence is Rhiannon's life is complicating things for her.
