Millie (Danielle Macdonald) has always dreamed of being an opera singer. Tired of being a fund manager, she decides to take a year off to find out who she really is and pursue her dreams. Millie contacts Meghan Geoffrey-Bishop (Joanna Lumley) for singing lessons in preparation for a singing competition. After meeting Max (Hugh Skinner), another opera student, Millie begins to fall for him as she must learn to leave her comfort zone in order for her to finally live her passion.
