The sound of thunder opens the official teaser trailer for Geostorm. Lightning illuminates shifting clouds before we're taken into space and see a satellite. Shortly after, we're brought back down to Earth as tornadoes tear through a crowded market and other natural disasters unleash.
As the teaser continues, we're introduced to a man (Gerard Butler) who appears to be enlisted to help curb the devastating weather conditions. The clip closes as a massive tidal wave crashes onto a coastal area, sending beach goers on a mad run for safety. Birds drop from the sky only to be followed by an aircraft.
A slow, eerie rendition of Louis Armstrong's hit track "What A Wonderful World" plays out to accompany the striking images.
