In the first official trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore try to recollect what they watched the night before while having pop tarts and coffee for breakfast. They take a walk around Stars Hollow and dish on some phone booth gossip. Luke is still trying to get the Gilmore girls to eat healthy while Emily mourns the loss of her husband Richard. Rory's vagabond lifestyle is the topic of dicussion at Friday night dinner - a surprise guest is also welcomed at the table.
Lorelai is in therapy discussing the struggle she is facing, although she says she is happy with Luke. Rory reveals that she is feeling lost and doesn't have a job or credit, as she confides in Jess. We also get a glimpse of Logan and Dean, Rory's past boyfriends.
We also see the return of several Stars Hollow residents, including Sookie, Babette, Mrs. Patty, Lane, Taylor and Kirk.
