In the trailer for Into the Night, while waiting at the airport, Rik (Jan Bijvoet) watches breaking news on a TV screen, which shows a number of bodies lying on the ground. He forces his way onto a flight to Moscow. Armed with a rifle, he tells the other passengers he's saving their lives because if they don't get out of there, the sunrise will kill them all. He tells the pilot to head west, in an effort to stay in the darkness.
