In this trailer for Maggie's Plan, single and lonely Maggie (Greta Gerwig) meets married and complicated John (Ethan Hawke). Maggie is instantly curious about John and his equally complicated wife Georgette (Julianne Moore). Eventually, the two begin an affair, and John leaves his wife for Maggie. Maggie now has everything she thought she wanted — a family, but her new boyfriend turns out to be much more damaged than she had ever expected. Unhappy, she comes up with a hair-brained plan to reunite John with his eccentric ex-wife.
