In the trailer for the documentary Science Fair, as the winner of the prestigious Gordon E. Moore Award is announced, teenager Jack Andraka screams with joy and rushes to the front. Another teen says making it to ISEF (Intel International Science and Engineering Fair) is a big thing. It gives you a status of "being in the group." A girl reveals that she thinks a lot of people are jealous of her. The teens talk about what they're working on, including preventing cancer rather than curing it. A mother of one of the participants speaks about how, if her daughter wins at the fair, doors will open for her.
