Sofie Werner (Yvonne Strahovski) winds up in an Australian immigration detention center and can't get out, even though her sister is searching for her, passing out missing flyers. Another man who is a refuge is captured and also put into the detention center, but he can't understand why he wound up there, until another man tells him it's because it's believed they are terrorists, despite no evidence to that effect. At the facility, the prisoners are treated with violence, as if they're less than human.
