The official trailer for The Assignment opens in a hazy operating room with The Doctor (Sigourney Weaver) explaining to her patient, Frank (Michelle Rodriguez), that this operation serves as a reminder for what he has done and that he’s been given a chance for redemption – but when Frank awakens and sees he's undergone gender surgery and is now a woman, he doesn’t see the situation quite the same way. Frank wants to learn why this happened. As the bullets and bodies begin to pile up, Frank searches for not just the reason why, but for revenge as well.
