Melissa McCarthy is Michelle Darnell, the richest woman in America, in this restricted trailer for raunchy 2016 comedy The Boss. Appearing on the Gayle King show, Michelle's former mentor Ida Marquette (Kathy Bates) is shown in a video interview completely throwing her under the bus. This is just the first in a long line of bridges that Michelle has burned on her way to the top. When Michelle is arrested for insider trading and sent to prison, she emerges with no friends, no money or usable connections. She now must rely on her employee Claire (Kristen Bell) to help her re-brand and get back everything she's lost.
