Evelyn (Naomi Watts) gives an uplifting speech to the inhabitants of the city of Chicago, assuring them that now that there are no factions, life will be even better. Soon after, Four (Theo James) and Tris (Shailene Woodley) and some of their friends escape by scaling the wall. They wind up at the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, where they discover the people there have been watching them using a surveillance system and know everything about them. When Tris and Four find out the Bureau is planning to erase Chicago, killing everyone they left behind, they decide to go home to save the city.
