In the official trailer for Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe, the infuriating truth behind an almost unbelievable scandal is revealed. The words, "The movie they don't want you to see," appear at the beginning of trailer. Very quickly, it becomes clear that a widespread effort on behalf of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) to conceal and destroy data on a study linking an MMR vaccine to a severe spike in autism rates is the subject of this film.

Parents are featured discussing how, for example, their young children were running and walking before being administered the vaccine, but afterwards weren't able to do so. In some cases, parents confess that their children even began beating their heads with objects days after the vaccine. These children were being diagnosed with autism and the MMR vaccine is entirely to blame. As the trailer depicts, the CDC was guilty of "Omission of crucial data, destruction of documents, misleading the Congress, and grievous harm to innocent children."

Dr. William Thompson of the CDC substantiates the claims and comes forward to take responsibility for a catastrophic epidemic that is utterly inexcusable, and terribly upsetting.
