In the brief teaser trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes, a black background is featured while snow blows in a breeze. As the snow begins to gather on a figure and the presence of an ape facing the camera is revealed, a deep voice says, "You must go before the fighting begins. I'm sorry. War has begun." Quickly after the words are spoken, a strong gust of wind blows through and the image of the ape is erased.
