In the trailer for American Chaos, director Jim Stern calls himself a “political junkie” and says he doesn’t believe Americans in the blue states understand those in the red states who supported President Trump during his campaign. In 2016, he begins interviewing Trump supporters and lets them explain their feelings towards their prospective leader. At the end of the trailer, Stern postulates that Trump might be “pushing us all to the very brink.”
