Middleview High School’s basketball team is dysfunctional and has no focus, currently losing their game by 50 points. With players who lack drive and motivation, and an assistant coach who is obsessed with implementing a complex offense, things don’t look good for Middleview High in surmounting a comeback. To top it all off, a group of theatre students plan to interrupt the game to make a statement about the patriarchy, with one of the students actually following through with it in what turns out to be quite the eventful night for a tremendously unsuccessful basketball team.
