In the official trailer for Girlboss, Sophia (Britt Robertson) bargains with a thrift store owner for a leather jacket. Once they agree on a price, Sophia tells the man he needs to know what his items are worth, as the jacket is a vintage designer piece, in perfect condition. Sophia takes the jacket, and “flips” it on Ebay. Watching the bids skyrocket, she learns that she can make a living from thrifting pieces. However, business take a dive when her bidders begin to turn against her. Not discouraged, Sophia decides to create her own store, and eventually takes the fashion retail world by storm.
