Lean on Pete - Trailer

In the trailer for Lean on Pete, teenager Charley (Charlie Plummer) is working for horse owner Del Montgomery (Steve Buscemi), who owns a chestnut horse named Lean on Pete. Del takes Charley to a diner and tells him he needs to learn manners after watching Charley inhale his food. He asks what Charley's mom says about his table manners and Charley admits she left a long time ago. Charley goes at night to visit Pete and is obviously growing very fond of him. However, Del's jockey, Bonnie (Chloë Sevigny), warns him about getting attached to the horses. When Pete loses a few races, Del decides to sell him. Without enough money to buy Pete or a place to keep him, Charley takes Pete and heads out across America, looking for odd jobs to survive.
