Ross Ulbricht (Nick Robinson) has just created Silk Road, a website on the dark web where people can buy drugs online using bitcoin. When Ross gets the ball rolling for Silk Road and the money starts to come in, he catches the attention of a DEA agent (Jason Clarke) who is set on shutting down the site and bringing Ross to justice, no matter what it takes.
