'The Public' Trailer

The trailer for The Public starts with the staff of the downtown Cincinnati Public Library fielding some odd queries from library patrons. Enter head librarian Stuart Goodson (Emilio Estevez), who explains the reality of his job to Angela (Taylor Schilling) and the eclectic people he interacts with daily. When a homeless man dies from the frigid weather outside the library, local man Jackson (Kenneth Michael Williams) goes to speak with Stuart about the possibility of he and the other homeless people staying inside the library for shelter. With Stuart unwilling to give the green light, Jackson prompts a sit-in action to occupy a portion of the library leading to a stand off with the police department all for the purpose of reminding those that though they are homeless, they are still people whose lives matter.
